What's it like on match days?
Match days are our FAVORITE days because we get to see our RDU Blues fam!
Anytime Chelsea is on the pitch, My Way Tavern Raleigh (map) is open for us. Yes, even for those 7:30 a.m. kickoffs.
We always have dedicated TVs and audio for matches. On the occasion that a match overlaps with another sporting event of local interest (e.g., NCAA football or the NFL), My Way Tavern Raleigh ensures that we have a dedicated spot for our group and that we have audio of our match. When that happens, we provide those details on social media.
No reservations, no dues and no Chelsea in America or Chelsea FC membership needed. Just show up and grab a seat – we're glad you're here with us!
What's the deal on big match days: Derby, Cup Finals and the like? Do I need to get there early?
It depends!
On normal weekend matchdays, you should expect 30-50 people at the pub. For Derby, our attendance has been closer to 70-80.
For the REALLY big matches, like the 2021 Champions League Final, My Way Tavern Raleigh is often standing room only before we reach kickoff. (Capacity at the pub is 200+.)
That to say: if you think it'll be a big crowd, you're probably right. Head on over a little early so you can make sure to have a seat.
Where do I park?
My Way Tavern Raleigh has a dedicated parking lot, and there is ample street parking as well.
Can I bring my dog? What about my kids?
Yes and yes! Furry family members are welcome on the patio, and your less-furry family members are welcome anywhere! (Tiff and Shel often bring their two littles, so please bring yours.)
